صدرت الطبعة الانكليزية والفرنسية المشتركة من كتاب " بيار أمين الجميّل : حلم وأمل " الذي يؤرخ لسيرة الوزير والنائب الشهيد الذي آمن بلبنان السيد ، الحر ، المستقل وناضل في سبيله حتى الاستشهاد. يعرض الكتاب في ست أبواب مراحل حياة بيار الجمّيل ، لا سيما الحقبة الممتدة منذ عودته الى لبنان من الهجرة القسرية التي فرضت على العائلة بعد انتهاء ولاية الرئيس أمين الجمّيل، وبداية نضاله الوطني والحزبي ، حتى إنتخابه نائبا لدورتين متتاليتين ثم تعيينه وزيرا للصناعة، والمصالحة التي أجراها في حزب الكتائب وصولا الى إستشهاده في الحادي والعشرين من شهر تشرين الثاني عام 2006.
كما يقدم الكتاب سلسلة من خطب ومواقف الجميّل على مدى أعوام النضال ،إضافة الى مداخلاته البرلمانية والبرنامج الذي وضعه في وزارة الصناعة تحت عنوان " صناعة لشباب لبنان 2010" وباب بعنوان " الوجه الآخر ".
يكشف الكتاب ايضا عن رسالة وجهها بيار الجميّل الى والده الرئيس الاسبق للجمهورية في العام 1992 خلال غربة العائلة القسرية في فرنسا ، يناشده فيها السماح له بالعودة الى لبنان لمتابعة دروسه والاقامة فيه ، شارحا له الحزن والقهر الذي ينتابه بسبب الاقامة خارج وطنه .
قدم للكتاب الرئيس أمين الجميّل وهو يقع في 296 صفحة بالالوان من القياس الكبير، و يعود ريعه بالكامل لتقديم منح جامعية عبر " مؤسسة بيار أمين الجميّل".
وكان الكتاب صدر العام الفائت باللغة العربية بعنوان " بيار أمين الجميّل : حلم وأمل " من كتابة وإعداد وإشراف فارس ملحم الجميل ، أما النص الانكليزي فاعدته نهلا عطية وحمل عنوان A message of hop والنص الفرنسي أعدته شركة Tradhis بعنوان Un message d espoir . والاخراج لسعد كيوان.

Pierre Amine Gemayels Book- A Message of Hope



The book Pierre Amine Gemayel- a Message of Hope has been recently launched in its combined English and French versions. It relates the history of the martyred Minister and Member of Parliament who believed in a sovereign, free, and independent Lebanon, and who fought for his cause until martyrdom.

The book comprises in 6 sections the various stages of the life of Pierre Gemayel, namely the period following his return to Lebanon after his familys forced exile, following the end of tenure of the presidency of Pierre Gemayel, and the beginning of his struggle both on the national and party levels, up to his election, twice, as Member of Parliament and later as Minister for Industry, and the reconciliation he engineered within the Kataeb Party, up to his martyrdom on 21 November 2006.

The book also covers a number of speeches and opinions as voiced throughout the years of struggle, together with his parliamentary debates and the program he devised for the Ministry of Industry Industry for Lebanons Youth 2010, and also the section Pierre in Private.

The book opens with a letter from Pierre to his father written in 1992 during the familys forced exile in France. In it, he asks his father to allow him to return home to resume his studies, and speaking of his sadness in living away from his beloved country.

President Amine Gemayel wrote the books introduction. 296 colored pages in large format, with sales proceeds to go in full to the Pierre Amine Gemayel Foundation to cover university scholarships.

The book was launched last year in Arabic, written and produced by Fares Melhem Gemayel, and designed by Saad Kiwan, with the English edit by Nahla Atiyah titled A Message of Hope and the French by Tradhis , titled Un Message dEspoir.
