James took over the crown with with a deep 3-pointer from the left wing with 2:40 left in the third quarter of Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals. The shot gave him 29 points for the game and 5,989 points for his postseason career. Jordan's mark of 5,987 points stood for 19 years.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 400th and 401st goals for Real Madrid in Sunday's 4-1 La Liga victory over Sevilla. Ronaldo, who joined Real from Manchester United for €94 million in the summer of 2009, reached the 400-mark in the 23rd minute against Jorge Sampaoli's side, pouncing onto to the rebound and slotting home after James Rodriguez had forced a save from Sergio Rico.
