Public Works & Transportation Minister Ghazi Aridi received on Thursday a delegation of Mount Aamel Municipalities Union that included Deputy Ali Fayad who discussed with the minister politics as well as developmental issues. Interviewed after the meeting, Fayad remarked on a concerted local, regional and international campaign aiming against the resistance and its allies. He duly called on politicians to take active initiatives to support resistance by bolstering interior solidarity and saving huge accomplishments and choices already adopted years ago in the ministerial statement.

"Protecting the resistance and preserving security stability are joint issues which must not segregate from each other," Fayad averred.

Separately, Aridi met with Deputy Qassem Abdul Aziz and discussed with him developmental affairs.

He later on met with head of Faiha' Municipalities Union, Nader Al-Ghazal, and explored with him a number developmental items, like the construction of Menieh sea rode and Bahsas bridge, the restoration of official buildings, as well as solving the transportation crisis.
