Lebanese Oil Companies to Stop Refueling Iranian Planes

Lebanese oil companies have been instructed to stop refueling Iranian planes landing in Beirut, as per a memorandum issued days after the U.S. sanctions on Iran came into effect.

"The employees of Liquigaz, Coral Oil, Total and W-H-Elfmed are not allowed to refuel planes belonging to Iran Air and Mahan Air," the memo reads.

Accordingly, the Beirut airport supervisors have been ordered to refuse all requests to refill the tanks of Iranian planes, along with those associated with the International Trade Regulations.

This new measure has also been notified to the supervisors of Al-Naser, Cham Wings, Belavia, Syrian Air, Iran Air and Mahan Air.
