Prominent Cardinal Leaves Hospital After Receiving Blood Pressure Treatment

Former Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir on Tuesday checked out of the Hotel Dieu Hospital after he had been admitted to it last week due to a sudden illness related to his blood pressure.

Journalist Habib Chlouk posted photos showing the cardinal leaving the hospital, having the sign of the cross placed on his forehead as Catholics marked yesterday, Ash Monday, the beginning of Lent.

His personal doctor, Elias Sfeir, assured that the cardinal has responded with the treatment given to him, stressing that he is in a good condition.
