The Internal Security Forces warned citizens against clicking on suspicious links which they may receive via various means of communication (phone, email...), as they might end up being subjected to extortion or hacking.
Therefore, the ISF suggested a website that allows the identification of links which contain a malware, advising citizens to copy any link they suspect and then paste it into the following website: http://virustotal.com
VirusTotal aggregates many antivirus products and online scan engines to check for viruses that the user's own antivirus may have missed, or to verify against any malware.
It inspects items with over 70 antivirus scanners and URL/domain blacklisting services, in addition to a myriad of tools to extract signals from the studied content. Any user can select a file from their computer or any URL they might find as suspicious.
