Head of the Kataeb's Economic and Social Council Jean Tawile on Wednesday stressed the importance of forensic audit, deeming it as an essential condition for the international community to gain its trust as well as for the International Monetary Fund.
“The public opinion needs to follow up the course of the forensic audit and its results,” Tawile told Voice of Lebanon radio station.
“We need to know what is happening with our money and deposits. A foreign company will carry out the forensic audit so as to achieve justice,” he said.
“If we don’t hold those responsible accountable with justice and forensic audit, then the Lebanese people will,” he added.
