Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah on Friday outlined the party's determination to fight corruption, deeming this task just as important as the resistance against the "Zionist project" in the region.
“You can expect everything from Hezbollah in this battle because it is necessary and the country's survival depends on it," Nasrallah said in a televised speech.
Nasrallah called on all political forces to join Hezbollah's anti-corruption campaign, noting that the group's efforts are neither targeting anyone nor aimed at gaining attention.
"Do not bet that we will be scared and do not try to intimidate us through sectarian strife threats,” he said. “We know that this battle is difficult and we do not expect results to start emerging within a few months."
