Kataeb Leader Samy Gemayel on Tuesday extended his condolences to the Lebanese Army and the Internal Security Forces following the attack that jolted Tripoli.
“Our condolences and prayers go to the Lebanese Army, the Internal Security Forces and the families of martyrs. They are the ones protecting this land and its people with their blood and sacrifices," Gemayel wrote on Twitter.
"They are proving that legitimate forces are the guarantee which unites, not divides. The Lebanese must rally around them during hardships,” he added.
“The honorable people of Tripoli remain an exemplary model for embracing legitimacy and renouncing terrorism."
