Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel on Tuesday met with a delegation representing Arab tribes from all Lebanese areas with talks featuring high on the recent developments in the country and the region.
“The opposition force defends Lebanon’s sovereignty, looks for respecting the Constitution, abides by the law, and combats corruption,” Gemayel indicated during the meeting held at the party's headquarters in Saifi.
Gemayel explained the party’s stances in Lebanon, stressing that the opposition force’s decisions are clear and are based on principles that are unaffected by transient gains.
He also outlined that the party steers away from any sectarian or ethnic disposition and focuses on providing all the necessary needs for all the Lebanese citizens regardless of their affiliations.
In its turn, the delegation affirmed that the Arab tribes conform to the sovereignty, independence and co-existence principles in Lebanon.
