Kataeb politburo member Alain Hakim, on Wednesday, appealed to protesters to stay calm and warned from sliding deeper into chaos and disorder.
“In 28 days, all the Lebanese were united in all areas. There’s no room for erosion or deflection from the protest’s demands towards chaos, segmentation and turmoil that would remind us of dark days provoking disorder and chaos in the country,” Hakim said on Twitter.
The Former Economy Minister urged accountability, alertness and concentration through institutional work for the sake of the nation’s interest first and foremost,” he added.
Hakim said in his statement attaching it with #LebanonProtests and #28_days hashtags.
