Kataeb MP Elias Hankache on Monday condemned the ruling authority for opting to restrain peaceful protesters instead of Hezbollah and Amal movement offenders on citizens, in reference to Sunday evening violent clashes.
“To whom shall we go? Who’s in charge? Who’s the governor?” Hankache questioned on Twitter.
“By which law and legislation, peaceful protesters are arrested and beaten in Jal el-Dib and Zouk while rioters who are terrorizing citizens, slandering and humiliating others, and crudely assaulting public and private properties at the Ring Bridge, are at liberty without accountability for the second time,” he slammed.
