Former MP Samer Saade on Monday criticized the tender to import 150,000 tons of gasoline to Lebanon as ZR Energy won the state tender offer set up by Energy Minister Nada Boustani.
“Praise to the Energy Ministry geniuses who have presided over the bidding to import gasoline. As a result of this resonant accomplishment, the state will import Platts+ premium gasoline for $39.70 per metric ton while other companies are importing it for $16 per metric ton,” Saade wrote on Twitter.
“Congratulations to ZR Energy for the extra $3,555,000. Let’s hope the State Treasury will be able to take on more of these accomplishments,” he condemned.
