Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel on Friday welcomed the family of martyr Alaa Abu Fakher, in the presence of MP Elias Hankache.
“This is the house of the people that supports the revolution and people’s demands. We have extended our condolences for the Kataeb’s Deputy-President Joseph Abu Khalil’s death,” Ihab Abu Fakher, Alaa’s brother said following the meeting that was held at the party’s headquarters in Saifi.
The brother also indicated that the case is taking its right course in the judiciary, hoping that justice will be served.
“The revolution is still ongoing and the situation will escalate now that corrupt individuals are consecutively emerging which urges people to be even more united and to let go of the barrier of fear, planted by those inciting sectarian strife,” he stressed.
