Beirut Airport Likely to Be Reopened Next Month

The government will likely take a decision regarding reopening Beirut's airport on June 3, 2020.

Beirut Rafic Hariri International airport will likely reopen and resume its flights on June 3, 2020 after it has been closed for almost two months due to  the coronavirus outbreak.

According to Kataeb.org website, the airport will gradually resume limited flights so as to avoid overcrowding as much as possible, affirming that it will take strict measures in terms of public safety, social distancing and virus prevention.

The airport will be open to countries that were able to recover from the Coronavirus pandemic while maintaining a weekly evaluation process for this step.
