Al-Rahi wondered about the Lebanese judicial appointments.
Maronite Patriarch Bechara al-Rahi slammed the practices of some Lebanese judges, wondering about the judicial appointments people have been waiting for.
“Is our system has transformed from a democratic system that guarantees all its civil and legal rights to a dictatorship one?” Al-Rahi asked during Sunday sermon.
"Where are all these unusual practices coming from?” he added.
“To whom does the oppressed citizen complain? To his political leader so he can protect him?”
Al-Rahi called on the State to support the agricultural sector as a keystone of the national economy, stressing the need to protect it from external speculation.
