Kataeb's Deputy-President Selim Sayegh called for an independent and a competent government that would restore people's confidence and fulfill their needs.
Kataeb's Deputy-President Selim Sayegh on Saturday called for an independent government and holding early parliamentary elections that would restore the international community’s confidence, stressing the need to adopt the necessary political reforms so as to fulfill people's needs.
“The government of former Prime Minister Saad Hariri was taken away while the current government tried to manage bankruptcy but never succeeded,” Sayegh told Al-Horra channel.
"Syria is exercising its influence through Hezbollah and we will never be able to continue with this system," he said.
“Thus, a new government is needed as soon as possible," he added.
