Former Economy Minister Alain Hakim lambasted the current government for its failure in handling the current disaster Lebanon is going through following Beirut port blast.
Former Economy Minister Alain Hakim on Thursday slammed the authority’s negligence and its disregard in adopting a clear mechanism that would help the afflicted citizens following the blast that has rocked Beirut city on Tuesday.
“Why no disaster plan has been implemented so far?” Hakim said addressing ruling authority.
“Who will help the citizens who have lost their homes and are unable to withdraw their money from banks?” he asked.
“What are you waiting for to give a hand to all those people who are now incapable of pursuing with their normal life?” he added.
