Lebanon Begins Two-Week Lockdown as Coronavirus Cases Surge

Lebanon is currently witnessing a huge increase in the coronavirus cases due to the Beirut blast that has jolted the city's main port three weeks ago.

Lebanon on Friday began its first day of a two-week lockdown as the country is witnessing a huge surge in the coronavirus cases following the Beirut Port blast that rocked the city nearly three weeks ago.

The lockdown will be implemented from August 21 until September 6 where all restaurants, markets, shopping centers, gyms and pools will be closed.

Curfew will be reinstated from 6 p.m. till 6 a.m. every day with
