Former Economy Minister Alain Hakim on Wednesday deemed the upcoming parliamentary elections as necessary, warning against any manipulation in this matter.
“The current political practices have executed any reform. Whoever seeks to postpone the parliamentary polls will be contributing in the political corruption,” Hakim wrote on Twitter.
“The upcoming elections are very essential. They are every citizen’s right and a necessity for exercising the institutional democracy,” he said.
“These polls are the basis for respecting the constitutional requirements, people’s opinion and their freedom,” he added.
