Fashion tycoon behind Asos, Anders Holch Povlsen, lost three out of his four children in the Sri Lanka terrorist attacks on Easter Sunday which killed almost 300 people.
Povlsen is Denmark’s wealthiest man with a net worth of $7.9 billion and is the largest landowner in Scotland, according to Forbes magazine.
“I can confirm that three children have been killed. We have no further comment and we ask that the family’s privacy is respected at this time,” Povlsen’s spokesman said.
Polvsen has acquired his business at the age of 28 from his parents and it includes brands such as Vero Moda and Jack & Jones, but he also has a string of investments in land and property.
