Women to Be Featured More than Men on Time Covers

Time magazine will have for the first time in its history more covers featuring women than men this year, according to an analysis by Axios released Tuesday.

So far in 2019, 44% of the covers have featured only women, while only 22% included men.

Axios reported that the change aims at including more diversity on the front cover, noting that the magazine had 3,199 covers featuring only men and only 428 showing only women since 1923.
