Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that he will cut short his Washington visit in the wake of a rocket attack north of Tel Aviv.
"In light of the security events I decided to cut short my visit to the US. I will meet President Trump in a few hours and immediately after that I will return to Israel to direct our actions closely," he said.
An Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman said a missile, fired from Gaza, hit the town of Mishmeret where one house was completely destroyed, and at least one other house and cars were badly damaged.
Seven people were injured, according to Israel's Magen David Adom ambulance service.
